Emergency Plumbing

Burst pipes, failed flexi hoses and sewage backing up. Answered 24 hours across Kellyville, and we will get the water off before anybody leaves the yard.

Emergency call-outs

Hot Water

Gas, electric, heat pump and solar. Sydney water is soft, so what finishes a tank here is a spent anode or a dead element, and both are frequently repairs.

Gas Fitting

Cooktops, heaters, outdoor kitchens and gas lines fitted, tested and certified in one visit, with the compliance certificate handed straight over.

What a plumber costs in Kellyville

Publishing a figure is rare in this trade, which is most of the reason we do it. These are 2026 Sydney entry numbers, here so every quote you get has a yardstick, ours included. That covers the van at the door and the trade's hourly rate. Job-by-job figures are on each service page.

01

Getting someone out: $0–$180

Free on anything booked through this page. Reach us another way and the usual Sydney attendance charge applies, generally at the higher end.

02

The hourly rate you will be quoted elsewhere: $100–$150

The business-hours market rate, and the number most quotes are quietly built from. We do not price that way, and the note under these cards says why.

03

After hours, weekends and holidays: $180–$250

What the trade adds for nights, weekends and public holidays. We add nothing, because the job figure is locked before anybody leaves.

04

A typical emergency repair: $250–$700

One agreed number to make a burst safe, clear a line or isolate a gas fault, rather than a clock that starts at the kerb.

05

Your fixed price: agreed first

Written down before work begins. If what we find changes the job, nothing goes ahead until you have approved the new figure.

The middle two cards are the market's rates rather than ours, and they are here for contrast. An hourly rate buys somebody's afternoon rather than a solved problem, which is a poor thing to be paying for when the diagnosis is the interesting part. We price the work rather than the hours, so what you approve is what you settle. And if a ten minute test on a changeover is going to answer the question, that is what gets quoted rather than an afternoon of leak detection. Where you already know what you need, the real figures live on the blocked drains, pipe relining, burst pipes and leaks, hot water and gas fitting pages.

The difference between a plumber and a licensed plumber.

Anyone can call themselves a plumber. A licensed one carries a NSW licence number, real insurance, and the legal accountability that comes with both, so when a gas job is certified or a repair signed off, it actually means something.

NSW licensed, fully insured, and working these estates constantly. Everything to the Australian Standards with a written lifetime workmanship warranty behind it.

Plumbing in Kellyville

There is something in most houses around here that almost nobody thinks about. BASIX, the Building Sustainability Index, has applied to new homes in NSW since 1 July 2004, and one of the most common ways of meeting its water target was a rainwater tank plumbed to the toilets, the laundry cold tap and the outdoor taps. Kellyville Ridge, Beaumont Hills, Stanhope Gardens, Parklea and North Kellyville were built out in and after that period. So an ordinary house here contains a second water system, complete with a pump, an automatic changeover and backflow protection, and in most of them nobody has laid a hand on it since handover. Across the Hills District, a licensed local plumber is only minutes away, same-day and 24/7 for genuine emergencies.

Common plumbing problems we see in Kellyville

  • There are two water systems here. BASIX has applied to new NSW homes since 1 July 2004, and a rainwater tank plumbed to toilets, laundry and outdoor taps was one of the most common ways of meeting the water target.
  • Hot water systems giving out. Soft water means a dead unit here has lost its anode or an element rather than filled with scale. Gas, electric, heat pump and solar, repaired where a repair is honest and replaced where it is not, frequently the same day.
  • Ageing galvanised & earthenware pipe. Older homes in Beaumont Hills, Acacia Gardens and North Kellyville still run on steel and clay pipe that rusts, roots and splits over time.
  • Gas fitting & compliance. Cooktops, heaters and outdoor kitchens on estates that were reticulated for gas from the start. Our licensed fitters size it, install it and certify it on the day.
  • It has moving parts. A pump, an automatic changeover and backflow protection. All mechanical, all subject to wear, and in most houses untouched since the day of handover.
  • And its failures hide. A changeover stuck on mains leaves every fixture working perfectly while you pay for water sitting in a tank outside. Nothing announces it.

Still have a question? Licensed plumber van servicing Kellyville
How much does a plumber charge per hour in Kellyville?

The trade sits around $100 to $150 an hour in Sydney and that tells you very little about your own job. We agree one figure covering the whole piece of work first, so a quick morning and a difficult one both finish where you expected.

How fast can you get to me in Kellyville?

For anything genuinely urgent we aim to be at the door inside the hour, across Kellyville and the surrounding Hills estates, any day and any time.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

Any attendance or after-hours figure is said on the phone before a van moves. Booked through this site there is nothing to say.

How do I know you're a licensed plumber?

NSW Licence 368473C. The Fair Trading register confirms it in about a minute, and that minute is worth spending on anybody you let onto the property. Unlicensed plumbing is illegal in NSW and voids a home insurance claim. Ours prints on every quote.

My hot water system failed and it isn't that old. Why?

Soft water is the reason. Where the supply is hard, a tank silts up with scale and that ends it. Sydney's is not like that, so instead the sacrificial anode is consumed protecting the steel and the tank starts corroding once it has gone, or an element burns out. Neither is automatically a replacement.

What is the second water system you keep mentioning?

A rainwater tank plumbed into the house. BASIX has applied to new NSW dwellings since 1 July 2004, and connecting a tank to the toilets, the laundry cold tap and the outdoor taps was one of the most common ways of meeting the water target. That installation has a pump, an automatic changeover so the fixtures keep working when the tank runs dry, and backflow protection so tank water cannot get into the drinking supply. All of that is mechanical, all of it wears, and in most houses nobody has checked any of it since the day it was handed over.

Do you work on heritage and conservation-area homes?

The estates around here are young by Sydney standards, and that is genuinely good news for most of what we do. Modern PVC drainage does not corrode the way earthenware and steel did, and root ingress is far less common than it is in older suburbs. When a young line does give trouble repeatedly, the cause is usually fall or an installation detail rather than decay, and that is a different conversation and frequently a cheaper one.

How would I know if the changeover has failed?

Mostly you would not, which is the whole problem. If it sticks on mains, every fixture in the house works perfectly and you simply pay for water that is sitting in a tank outside. There is no noise, no fault light and nothing to notice, and the only symptom is a bill that has climbed for no obvious reason. If it sticks the other way, toilets fill slowly or stop when the tank empties. Either way it is a ten minute test rather than a mystery.

What areas around Kellyville do you cover?

The whole Kellyville LGA and every suburb around it: Acacia Gardens, Beaumont Hills, Kellyville Ridge, Kenthurst, North Kellyville, Parklea, Stanhope Gardens, Kellyville Ridge and more.

Hot water systems we service and replace

Hot water brings us out more than anything else, and this is the gear behind it. Gas on the estates that were reticulated for it, heat pumps wherever there is outdoor space with real airflow, and solar where the roof was oriented for it in the first place. Repairing and replacing hot water systems is most of what we do here, and we are straight about what each job costs and the age at which a unit stops being worth fixing.

We service and replace these systems as an independent licensed plumber. We are not an agent for, or endorsed by, any of these manufacturers.
